Aiden Benoit is a filmmaker and screenwriter from Edmonton, Alberta, now based in Calgary. He began writing screenplays at the age of 15 and has since completed 22 scripts, earning recognition as a Top 20 semifinalist in the Packed House Screenplay Competition, out of more than 300 submissions.

 

He has worked on film projects, including directing, co-editing, and operating a second camera for the documentary trailer Beyond the Call for Service (2021), as well as assisting on set for the short film Sylvan Lake (2025). He has also provided audiovisual and technical support for several training sessions and workshops.

Aiden began developing his first short film and documentary project in 2026, continuing to pursue storytelling with heart.

 

In addition to his writing, Aiden is the Editor of the Life, Change, Transformation podcast and has worked on 56 episodes of the show, which is ranked among the Top 10 in Personal Development Podcasts in Ireland. 

 

In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, writing songs, traveling, and hitting the golf course. He is known for his discipline, kindness, and creative drive.
